The defiant was build only for one purpose: to fight and defet the borg 
But dam this cubes are strong, but the hardAI Dominion defeted 3 Cubes of mine with ca. 1000 Battleships. P.s. If the Ai get enough ressources its build up to 8 Heavy Shipyards and pumps out tons of ships. (But the next 3 Cubes destroyed the Dominion Fleet and their Base )
