Yo!  I have another one, not sure if someone reported it but I didn't see it on the main table so here it goes.  If you play as the borg and assimilate/capture a Newton class, you can research the upgrade but then you can no longer control the vessel.  It still identifies as borg, but it acts as if it is an NPC.  However, if you have less than maximum crew and beam more drones on board, you regain control, if you have max crew, you cannot gain the ship back (I assume you can attack it to lower the crew and re-board it, but I didn't actually try that).

But i think this is not intended, because not noticed

The Taqroja avatar starbase have a damage per second of 27  (54/2)
and the Martok Avatar a damage per second of 33 (20/0.6)

if not every Micro Photon Torpedo would hit, it would be equal, but currently the Martok avator have an advantage that not had been noticed yet

i was playing around with mixed tech a bit and noticed when playing as taqroya klingon that the mixed tech NoQ’Duj that is suposed to have all stats increased by 1 and increased speed and sensor range:

It apeared to have the same sensor range (the sensor range circle was the same and actual sensor range apeared the same but could not be completely sure)

It apeared to have the same movement speed (let them go a long path when on high movement autonomy and they arived simultaniosly did the same on seperate movement orders but still the same speed)

and when i hover above the weapon arrays they have the same damage and reload speed

the only diference i noticed was that it has more hull hitpoints

guess thats not relevant for the bug discussion, but taq's disadvantage might not be that much of a hit since the weapon does not spread its damage all over the place like martoks torpedos do with their high RoF. on the other hand, 6 dps are quite a hit.

Statement relevant to topic:
Iirc I've noticed an enlarged sight radius with the mixtech scouts. But as often as they are seen in games you never know.

Dominion mixed-tech NoQ'Duj's visual radius is indeed unchanged, the rest are changed correctly :). There are probably some small issues with the tooltips, but the damage is changed properly.

I'm getting hit by the "Ships move while under no movement autonomy" issue while doing my AI bashes, and I think I have a handle on when it occurs.

One of my defensive tactics is to have a set of turrets and a few E2s sitting behind them. If I move the ships as a group such that they fall into the default square formation, then often the peripheral ships will react and move to engage enemy ships. If I move them individually to where I want them, they'll stay put. My guess is that the formation behaviour is overriding the individual's behaviour.

Are they on Red Alert? Red Alert is an attack everything that comes in sensorrange setting, which likely overrides movement. Attacking everything they can see requires movement in order to put the target in weaponrange.

i have noticed that ships on red alert but no movement stay still dispite being able to see the enemy. if one of your ships is firing at the enemy the others will stay still but if your ship thats firing get hit back then the others will swarm in which can be annoying sometimes.

Yes, they're on Red Alert in both situations. The only ship types I take off Red Alert are scouts and Newtons.

Edit: Personally, I'd prefer that ships prioritise individual movement autonomy settings over everything else. Against Merciless Romulan AI, positioning and mass is vital.

Yes, movement autonomies are screwy across the board pretty much - there's not that much that can be done for that right now, as it's a frustratingly encompassing issue with Armada II. Nevertheless that's a big priority for us to change :)

I´ve found a bug.

Some Shipnames have a "?" in their name.

Example: USS T?kio

I´ve found this Bug only by the Feds.


Another one...

I´ve played against the Romulans. Two Ships of them could attack me, with activated cloak. oO

Which ships fired while Cloaked? If they were Rhienn Class, it's not a bug; the Aldovh-Type Cloak of a veteran Rhienn doesn't disable weapons.

No, im sure it wasn´t the Rhienn Class.

I´ve saved the game. When I get home, I'll look up what class it was.

two other bugs:

-you can build cloaking mix-tech defiants without researched any chasislevel before
-The special energy was removed from ships if they dont need them, but someone forgot the k'tingas

You don't need anything except Analyze Alien Technology to build any Mixed-Tech ship, they're all seperate from the standard version. Not even the Dominion have any of the normal requirements for their Mixed-Tech.
