New release crashes

I just installed the new 3.1.0 version and as soon as i clicked instant action it crashed to desktop and asked me to send an error report.

Going to reinstall and see if it was an installation error.

A Microsoft error report, and no.

I reinstalled and it worked fine, must have been a problem during installation, i noticed the second time i installed it took longer.

guys I think the installer got corrupted or something because I always have errors when installing the new version, I've got extraction errors on some of the .tga files

Same, i have to start the game 4 or 4 times now. I tried reinstalling did nothing.

the installer should pop up a message if it is corrupted as the signature is checked upon startup...still strange

no problems for me

works great Doca, and sofar I have played a game,and tested sone of the new features, and have had no crashes

You probably have to re-add the multimedia pack.

thanks, works, now cant save a game says to , old or corrupt? any clue.  No just saveing game from the new download.  think i should reinstall? thanks for getting back.

Uh, that I don't know. 

Are you trying to save over an old file, did you try saving as a different name?

EDIT: Possibly if nothing else works, Or you could wait for a dev or someone who has had this problem to respond.

there is a bug in the game saving functions, so the possibility is high that savegames get corrupted. sorry about that, a fix is in development

If you uninstall the old game and any of the old maps, or saved games youll be able to save instant action games, hope this helps.

Wow are there some buggs. Its crashed 5 times in less than an hour. Im not sure what and for some reason I cant send bug reports. Twice on launching the game and 3 times whiles just playing as klingons.

To send crash reports, just save to desktop and attack in an ordinary email if you can't figure it out the other way

Don't use any custom maps - they are all bugged.
