I was halfway through typing up a lengthy post but then we had already given this guy a hard time, lol.

Fleet Operations is a Real Time Strategy game, and strategy games involve making decissions and chosing between a number of options. So strategy games always involve a good part of thinking, planing and lurking in the shadows with evil plots. Just look at the most famous strategy game: chess.

In the age of modern computer games, there are a lot of different flavors of strategy games. some that encourage planing and thinking, some that are more designed for action. They exist because they are made for different tastes, and thats all okay and good. Both are fun to play. I see Fleet Operations in the first branch, as we have quite a lot of features that allow players to make choices and get their individual gaming experience. That even starts in the first seconds of a game when chosing your Avatar.

We have no intentions about changing that course. We wont turn Fleet Operations in an arcade title, as well as we dont plan to add ego-shooter experience and rocket launchers.
We could talk about a crowbar, though. ^-^

Oh shit!  The Borg have boarded our ship and are in the process of assimilating our crew! :crybaby: We need someone with experience in a weapon the Borg won't be able to adapt to!  We need someone who will protect us from a half-life of slavery in the collective!  We need...a Free Man! B)

No, we need Kirk singing (as seen in Futurama and a Voyager/Galactica fanfic).

tyler i didnt know you could be so cruel, i know the borg are naughty but exposing them to the horror of what u suggested would be against every geneva convention, even the ones that aren't relevant.

Puffff, the Borg would, somehow, deal with Gordon and his crowbar and then assimilate him, then we'd really be fucked

What we need is someone who is experianced at fighting against impossible odds, using only his hands, a man who's face is always indifferent, regardless of what he's facing, the only man to ever have (supposably, great debates are still held over the validity of this news) beaten Chuck Norris. A man impossible to beat and/or assimilate. We need the Lawman.

Better not say that within ear shot of him, or his martial arts background will come over to Slovenia and kick your ass!  Seagal himself won't  have to do a thing, his martial arts background is like a seperate, intangible force that he can project on his foes.  Intangible, that is, until it roundhouse kicks you in the jaw and knocks you out. :P

Dont worry, I dont plan on saying or doing anything bad about the guy (I can write though :P). Im quite afraid of him, really  :P

Steven Seagal's martial arts background will go back to Steven Seagal, now that proper respect has been paid to Steven Seagal's martial arts background.

Could you imagine if Steven used one of the lines from his movies on the Borg?

"You will be assimilated"

"I'm gonna take you to the bank.  The blood bank." B)

One day, in the not too distant future, the Borg invaded Federation territory with a substantial force of 120 cubes and various small supporting vessels. Starfleet were staring defeat in the eyes until one man was called upon to end the Borg Blight. Shortly after, the entire Borg invasion fleet was destroyed in a round-house related incident. Shortly after that, all Borg died.
