For everyone who looks for the guide, I recommend The Hitchhicker's Guide to Fleet Operations. The download for it is in the download section or filefront (more information). Almost everything that was in this guide can be found in The Hitchhikers Guide.

I just looked into it. Good!!!

I'm just readin it across, I'l hand all mistakes I can find over to you asap.

Point 4.3.3 is outdated: the cloaking generator can cloak itself now too (3.0.5)

3.1.2. Support vessels: "Every race haves ..." Just a little typing mistake.

3.1.4. About cloak: "Cloaking is mostly a great advantage for Kllingons ...", Another one

A really amazin work!!!

Hi Zebh again!

There's something wron with the generix refits: You left out the frigate refit, but assigned the frigate refits passive ability to the spectre refit, which should have the oversized shields instead.

Very good guide.  This is the perfect companion for a new fleet ops player.  And the photos and presentation are wonderful!  I echo Baron when I say that this is "kick-arse"

Looks great zebh, but i spotted a few typos....
please wait, im under construction...
* there are many small points (too many to list) but ill list the major ones
* pretty much all instances of the word "haves" should be replaced with "has".
* the miranda 2's special is listed as only boosting the rate of fire for the quantum cannons while it actually does this:
  boosts offensive value by 10
boosts are of fire for quantum pulse cannons
reduces accuracy against small and maybe medium vessels
* there appears to be nothing except the stats on the sovvie...
* the phalanx's hypercharge magnan ability also reduces the magnan phasers rate of fire i believe...
* the romulan "ceahlaer" should be "cehlaer"

The Hypercharge makes the ROF (Rate of Fire) go up, at the expense of having longer cooldown times.

With that, it should say this: A good way to micro is to set the Phalanx to its special ability, have all Magnan Phaser shots fire, and then reset to normal Magnans, and wait for the vessels special to recharge on normal, and then reapeat.

( Always works!)

I spotted that once however I dont play Risener often enough to get to use it.

A little typo:
offensicve > offensive (p.20, Vor'cha description)
rage > range, Increase s > Increases (p.20, Veqlaragh description)
And a few commas missing, etc...

If you need a proofreader, i volunteer. No charge  :D

Other than that, a really nice job!

I'm a new player. Downloaded Fleet Ops yesterday and the guide today. Thank you very much. It's made understanding things a lot, lot easier.

I have one question.

In the guide, it says the Romulan battleship Tavara has a defensive value of 69, but in the game it seems to be coming up at 169 - making it a very tough ship to kill!

Is there a mistake in the guide, a bug in the game or am I just being noobish and foolish?

Edit: Okey doke - figured it out. Experience + shield upgrades boosts ships A LOT.

shoot, i incorrectly listed the miranda 2's ability as boosign the Offensive value by 10, what i meant was the Defensive value!
