Only way to see shield hitpoints that I know is that if you are playing an instant action game and use the map editor to see shield hitpoints (ctrl+e).

Thanks for the guide, outdated with mistakes or not.  Somehow I overlooked the fact that there was one and spent hours trying to figure out exactly what everything did, or why it did it, or how effectively it did it.

Also, thank you so much for this mod/conversion or whatever you want to call it...FO is so much better than I remember A2 being!

really nice guide, clean, simple layout to see what's what at a glance for a new player like myself.  here I was thinking that the armada 1 experience was lost forever, but no - a masterful game like this has taken it's place.  sweet indeed.
