Sorry again, that's what I get for late night posting. I meant my mythological theme, I think I already said that the great cities should be for sovies.

OK, I've moved "great cities" from the Sovereign to a new category called "general", which is for themes whose members won't all be assigned to the same ship and I've added "mythical creatures" under another new category called "unassigned" for now, which is (as the name suggests) for lists we have yet to put anywhere in particular...

The homeworlds one doesn't have to be only Federation members (USS Romulus?)

USS Remus?

Romulus & Remus also fit into mythology.

Why would the Federation name a ship after the homeworlds of one of thier enemies? That'd be like the Americans of World War Two era naming a ship USS Berlin...

The romulans aren't necessarily enemies post nemesis are they? The whole point of the movie was to partially echo undiscovered country with romulans instead of klingons.

Plus it's not like the Romulans have a copyright on the term Romulus. He was a mythological-semi-historical figure on Earth after all.

for the mediterainian clas USS Baird as in John Logie Baird inventor of the TV

And that would also be slightly treky because of Stuart Baird, the director of nemesis. I mean he did alright...

Hmm... Well I could either add a "famous inventors" category for the Med (moving Edison and Bell to it, as well as maybe adding Reyga, for the Ferengi guy (Dr. Reyga) who invented metaphasic shields), or simply slot Baird in under "famous engineers" as Baird was, in fact, an engineer by trade... What do you think?
