Yes, the Dominion ramming one of my vessels happened to me yesterday, as well.

And the coolest thing about it: It destroyed one of my Galaxies that way. :woot: Totally déjà vu.

I'm really impressed with all the improvements the new version has. Congratulations once more!

I think I found a tiny bug (?) though. Starfleet Command no longer shows how many points the different Warp-ins consume and how many are left. I had to simply try to Warp-in some vessels and hope for the best.

When I played, the 'Warp-In slots' was in the vessel tooltips, though they vanished in the second half of the game.

aye, we updated the way tooltips display (for some bug fixing and to implement new features in future versions), but sadly I forgot to update the Warp-In tooltip :D will be fixed in 3.0.7

go to the federation odf (data->odf->system->federation.odf and use the following command standardUnits2 = "name of odf.odf")

Hi, i've got a question. In the changes you state that the Cahlear Class construction costs are greatly reduced but ingame i saw the Cahlear Class costs 870 instead of 803. In fact all Romulan ships are increased in costs. 930 dillithium for a Norexan Class seems a bit much.

thats due to the redone formulas. the reduction was ment relatively to the new adjusted costs. i must admit that line is a bit irritating :sweatdrop:

something i find very disturbing is the strength of defence turrets ... specally the fed torpedo turrets. my friend lost 6 v13 battleships at 3 turrets which i placed ... thats totally sick at least in my sight.

i start to like the turtetactic ...

Those Turrets fire Quantum's...Quantum's have always been shown to be very powerful. If the Cardassians can design a Turret with that level of firepower, Starfleet can just as easily.

I do!

I beg to differ: I played a Fed vs Fed battle yesterday and whiped the floor with another player using a careful balance of Norways and Canaverals. At the end, when we each picked 16 ships to do combat with eachother (for testing's sake) I lost only 1 ship. You folks just have to learn how to build more balanced fleets. Norways were never the backbone of the Federation armada, and by using them as such because of the Plasma Coil's ubiquitessness, you never learned how to use the other Federation units properly I think.

[li]Double-clicking units now does select units of the same type regardless of their rank

I think I found a ship that slipped your update... it was cloaked, I presume. ;)

The regular Vor'cha (avatar used was Martok) doesn't work this way.

It seems all other Martok vessels, including Federation mixed tech Vor'chas, are double-click selectable with different ranks.

I seriously need to upgrade my PC!  I love what you guys are doing though.  :)

I have a question.  Are there any "User Manuals" that I can download from here that will help guide players in how to play 3.0.6?

I'm assuming it's a difficult thing to do since the game changes with each new version.

I will be creating a mega-guide to help new and old player game in 3.06. However, if you wish, the fundamentals of most factions have not changed too much, so the 3.05a guides in the Strategy Subforum are still valid (The Borg guide is not quite valid, so please ignore the BO section as I have to redo that immensely). Good luck and see you online

think i found a save bug.......when i went to reload a save game it looks like the explosions from battles were showing up.  lots of white blobs all over the place.
