Preview: New Borg Features

Well it has taken longer than the other patches have you were not here from v3PR to v3. Im sure someone will say something about how long the other releases were but oh well.

i know dircome that took along time but that was a major redo, and we got the borg and a whole bunch of over stuff, i just thought that back when they announced that they were gearing towards smaller more weekly patchs that they would do that

As I've posted before, who are you/we to judge how long these things "should" take? The things the dev team say are not legally-binding deadlines, and you have no idea how much work these guys have to do to get these new features ingame, so why, in every news thread, do certain people keep complaining that "oh, this is taking too long"?

These things will be done when they are done. Be patient.

Ray this is a major redo every vessel is getting a new odf file, the borg are being drastically changed and the way the torps work are being redone. To top it all off we are getting the ambassador class so i think that counts as a pretty major redo.

One last thing I forgot to ask. Optec, does the new building style for Borg mean that you have to float all resources at once to build a ship and all its modules?

Aha! So the micro is still there then for building as Borg 

And Ray, you know you could always write a Federation Guide in all this free time you have because of no patch

Here is the "official" answer on when they'll be done: it could be anywhere from 3 days to about 6 months. make sure to spead the word everyone!

people interpret my stuff much more pessimistic then i thought, guess thats good for a newspost poster! nope it will be less then a month
