cool, but...Does that mean the ambassador class won't be in this patch?!?!?  That stinks sense the Feds are my favorite, but I will live.  But I still can't wait for this patch.

im new in this patch can someone tell me how come borgs are too strong and i need masive fleet for one lousy cube

and borgs ships that are clearly ower povered are constructing faster than anny other race battle ships
i like this awsome mode but the borgs are ruining the fun when u want to play with another race
ummmmmm if im wrong  i would like to know it maybe im doing something wrong

Welcome, kuckica.

Borg Ships are ment to be powerful and big, this balanced by their unique game elemnents, i recommend you to play as borg for a change and see how they work, so you can figure out what their strenghts and weaknesses (yes, they weaknesses  ) are.

i just have to cut their dilitium suplies and they are doomed xD

Generix Support weapon disabler hurts Tactical cubes badly.  Rhienn torpedo refit is evil against Borg.  Serkas hurt the borg very badly.  D'deridex with their Plasma Torpedoes and their officer ability enhancement to said torpedoes also hurt the Borg badly.  Leahval in packs rip the borg ships that are below cube apart thanks to their basic special.  Finally, the Tavara is great for fighting the borg as well.

Tavara doesn't do well against Assimilators, they assimilated my max level, fully upgraded Tavara with a few of them.

How many is 'a few'?  Tavara has a huge crew.  And if it's nothing but one Tavara versus 6+ Assims, you really should cloak her and run for repair.  Would you have a Tavara fight large numbers of V-13s alone?  Remember that borg ships start at Heavy Cruiser, and go up with the exception of the Detector.

Gang up on them, don't use low-crew vessels against Assims, and Torps of all sorts are your friend.

I pretty much never use Tavara's without several more Warbirds around. I get all ships to attack the Assimilators, they get all Assimilators to Auto-Assimilate the Tavara. Evan aganst a big crew, those things can be fast.

Yes, only a few (maybe 3-4) Assimilators should be necessary to assimilate the 800 crew I believe.

Ah.  I never attack Borg without some Serkas around, so the Assims never last long enough to assimilate much of anything.
