You did say you had read the guide for that, so I only had assumed that you had read it of course  . Tunngle is the VPN service that forms the connections - the games are still played through the TCP/IP integrated feature on Fleet Ops. I can copy paste the rest if it would help.  :sweatdrop:

you see no games listed there?

you may need to configure your software firewall (like norton or mcafee or windows firewall etc) to allow directplay (dp)

to do this you will need to add the following exception:

Program allowed: %fleetops installed dir %/data/armada2.exe
Ports Allowed: all (UDP)
Direction: outbound and inbound, you may need a rule for each.
Protocol: UDP

having got the info the embarrassing way, but none the less, still a way, i hope others dont get caught out in the same boat as myself.

technology is again stopping me, i will have to get back to you on that, ive disabled the windows firewall, its practically useless anyhow. ive got Comodo firewall running, im gonna adjust that as even adding the port forward in the windows firewall is not accomplishing anything.

edit: i adjusted the firewall and getting one game show up in red no less, so i wont be able to join that one.

thats good. that means the game has started lol. you should be able to join and play now. if u still cant join try disabling both your firewalls.

plus u said u disabled windows firewall, so adding ports to windows firewall is pointless lol if its off. u need to add the points to comodo

i dont mess around with comodo unless i want something off it, such as creating new rules to allow a game to work.

are u afraid it will bite you? (cos its a comodo dragon :P )

just backup all your settings and u will be fine ^^

its no problem. this is a very tight knit community. we all come together to play a game we all enjoy about a story we all love. i dont know what it is about this community that keeps it so friendly. the admins dont interfere to stop arguments or anything. the arguments rarely escalate into personal attacks. other forums descend into chaos. they could all learn from fleetops. all players are valued here.
