Oh, thats nice.

I really would have created one, but I was victim of the unfairness of that competition. You did't take into account that I had my statistical physics exam on monday. (denoting for everyone that this is a joke!!!)

I will avail myself of the opportunity that arises from 3.0.6. Meanwhile I'll extend my experiences on countering rushes, which seems to be the most game-deciding factor, especially for small games, and thus deserves an own guide.

A guide on FO science is a fine idea, but I'm not sure if that is possible. The line one has to walk to cover each feature, but find a proper physical explanation, or at least no incompatibility with observed physics, is really really thin. Such an attempt would also include a section that discribes all unrealistic or non-plausible physical behaviors, which are essentially needed for gameplay. If I adjudge it to be a possible and not ridiculous project, I'll be a great pleasure for me to present one to you.

If there's one observer , can he record the game, and put it on youtube?

@ mimoset

lets not bring up the unfairness thing again, I'm pretty sure it has been resolved.  And whats stopping you from relasing the science guide thing?  I would certianally appreciate.

And whoever is the observer, PLZ record it!!!  twill be awsome

Well, since the odds are good that I'll be the observer, point me in the direction of a free, high quality recording program, and I will!

Or you can do like someone did on Legacy files and point your camera at the screen.

well i wouldnt know, i didnt read the posts, i just said that, im not beating a dead horse all im saying

is that they should just stop by once in a while

and we should do this again, but make it a longer period,

#1 more time for others to get it done, or started

#2 to get a better product out of it, and by giving enough time for people and an incentive, maybey actually getting a complete guide for fleet ops

I agree if you we ever have a comiption again it would be nice if i had about 2 weeks do get stuff ready.

Also its nice to see that everyone is friends again. For a while there there was more drama in this thread than there was in Jr High

And mal I since it looks like you will be the odd man out, i would recamend either Camtasia Studio or Fraps and while they are both just trials you only need it for one day. Also camtasia seems to have more features so it would be better. If anyone has used any screen capture software maybe they could give some ideas here. I just remembered that Optec has made those 2 vidoes for youtube. Optec how did you capture it and would you be willing to record the game from your computer.
