Don't know if i should mention this but the Spacedock.odfs don't have a sod, when i build one all i get is a station that looks like the word ERROR! funny thing is, it won't crash the game and will build ships and fire weapons and when i build a ship the word spins. (btw the weapons don't do any damage at all) i was wondering if it will be fixed in the next patch or even a hotfix or is there a sod for fleetops i can get my hands on?

Indeed, Spacedock will appear way down the road :)

ok so is there a way to at least make the weapons work? or do i just replace them with outpost weapons?

You could but if you know how to mod you can make the weapons whatever you want. Also a bug, on the rank 5 (maybe rank 4 as well) brels 2 of their passives overlap.

Not a bug and has been there since 3.1.0 I believe :). It's to make the AI more challenging and fun.  ^-^

that's known, there is no better silenced weapon than the weapon that does no damage.

presumably it will be fixed next patch.

First, this patch is awesome.  Was talking to a friend yesterday that I used to play FO with, back in version 2.0.  It's come a LONG way since then, and is really shaping up into an awesome game.

Now, I have 2 bugs to report.  One, as I mentioned before, is that if Romulans build a Klingon mixed-tech yard and produce the Rhienn with graviton marker, the special ability is programmed as a targeted ability instead of a mine-laying.  You have to find an enemy somewhere on the map before your cursor turns blue, then when you tell it to "use" the graviton marker on that enemy your Rhienn will drop the marker at its current location as intended.

Second, certain Dominion ships (not sure which, the troopship was the one doing it to me) controlled by the AI will start boarding your ships the second you cloak them and the shields go down.  Then once your ship is cloaked it will CONTINUE to board you no matter how far away you get.  Even if you enter a nebula, it won't stop and if you decloak your shields will stay down because you're still being boarded.  I even tried the cehlaer's paralyzing beam but the boarding didn't stop  :crybaby:

I was playing Romulan with a Romulan AI friend, and lost my first warbird this way.  Ten minutes later I was attacked by 3-4 warbirds that the Dominion AI had stolen from my ally.

graviton marker is supposed to be targetted and not a mine :D the behaviour u noted is normal

all troopships have the special that they start boarding automatically if set to special weapons autonomy. you can use this against the ai or human players as well when they run and cloak.

it makes sense as cloaking requires sheilds to be dropped.

the transport should cut off with distance though.

ah okay I may have gotten confused about different versions of FO.  Does the graviton marker travel to the target?  Because I thought I remembered seeing the ability description saying it dropped something.

As for the troopship auto-boarding, that's really cool and I didn't know that about weapons autonomy, but boarding needs to shut off when the ship cloaks or the troopship otherwise becomes "unaware" of its target.  I know it's really hard to program an AI to keep track of what it is "aware" of and what it isn't.

The idea is that troops on the ship tell where the ship is so that it can be boarded by more troops. A human player can board a cloaked ship as well, but only if boarding begins before the ship cloaks or if the ship is detected while cloaked. Unless the AI starts to board a ship that is already cloaked and hasn't been detected, then there is no problem.

it does travel to its target. i think it used to be a mine like drop but was changed.

i'm happy with boarding continuing after cloak. think of it this way, the enemy cloaks but you still have soldiers on their ship, meaning those soldiers can use their combadges to signal position for more troops to beam to.
