With the vet S2, you only get the ranks 5 and 6 together and with rank 1 to 4, those you only can select together the Breen avatar vessels.

Okay, I got two saber related-bugs. (I think someone already submitted the weapons displaying as special weapons so I'll leave that)

Firstly, the Risner saber on the map editor is the old one without offensive boost, and secondly a Risner veteran saber has the same defense as a Mayson saber when it should have 3 less defense value.

Heavy bug:

I've build some perimeters around a wormhole in order to attack ships that go through. I've send some smaller B-11 support ships there in order to strengthen my defense. After a while, I saw that my support ships got destroyed my some godlike hand... no ship fired on them, but they got destroyed after two "hits" from something. I watched the admirals log and what I saw was: "Destroyed by perimeter".

I researched that issue and saw, that also other ships were involved, but not destroyed, because of the high defensive value.

So I send over some B-5 ships and launched their fighters. Same here. The perimeter is firing and the fighters go "blop" and are gone. Sometimes, I saw a little white shot from the perimeters to my small support ships, the fighters went "blop" alltogether, when they were within a certain range of the perimeter.

The blue fire destroys all of my small ships. This is a major disadvantage when you want to defend a position and your own perimeter destroys your own ships.

that sounds like at charges to me, i was unaware that it did friendly fire.

EDIT: just tested it, AT charges definitely does do friendly fire. it sounds reasonable to me that it should do friendly fire. but i dont remember it doing so before.

what u are seeing is the AT charges hitting an enemy vessel nearby, and your ships taking some damage.

Yes, the AT charges fire into the middle and hitting the support vessels BEHIND the perimeters. Thats way too much of friendly fire. The best solution would be to deactivate friendly fire. Its only a VERY little cut in the games, but does brings much more use of the perimeters into the game.

When it stays as it is, I wont build the perimeters anymore, because the ATs destroy all of my support and attack ships. Just let a small scout decloac in the middle of an enemy base and watch the enemy ATs destroy half of the enemy fleet. Then you get in and whipe the floor.  :D

Had a 2 Gold Bar Vatpua, Valtupa.  Argh - I hate this Klingon Names. The shipt with the troopshipupgrade.
It was upgrade to the troopship, had lost 41 crewman and I was unable to promote it to veteran.


Btw, the autokilling of enemy crews of the borg is realy strong. I lost 14 raiding bops this way at once by one station.

that's the vutpa :)

and you would have to leave your brels near 1 incubation centre for quite some time to lose them. you should have retreated when they hit yellow, they even become less combat effective at yellow crew.

It won't take long to loose them ;). They raided two miners and a mining station and I did other things elsewhere. I just noticed it when they attacked my own ships I send for support.

just tested 1 incubator with 1 brel, took nearly a minute to capture. thats not fast. the brel has engines, it could have left when crew hit the red easily.

As I said. I sent them to raid there and then I leave them allone.
When I returned my support (6 k... err, this litte fliing tanks in ktinga style) where there and I lost more then the half of my bops to the borg. So arround 6 bop agains 6 k... and the left bops.

The creweleminator seems to be an area of effect weapon. Did't knew that.




But that was not my but. The bug was the vutpa that won't rank up.

oof i forgot to poste in here...  :whistling: a week ago i also encountered Vutpa refit bug.. i was unable to promote it to veteran but i was able to promote different one few minutes later (AI game)

i mentioned this in tunngle lobby and i see i forgot to posted here... better test that than leaved alone

(i had enough free veteran slots for upgrade)

And I noticed another strange thing.
I build a Doctower as Borg an it was destroyed before it was ready.
After the destruction the red "you can't build here" zone of one mapobjekt was 1 row of the boxes smaller where the tower was build
