Sorry if this was already posted, but Ctrl+C does nothing. It's supposed to cloak ships :whistling:

That's not a bug.  If you read the changelog carefully you'll see that they disabled it while they work a few minor problems out.

Oh ok. Makes sense, since I've noticed a few problems with cloaking, like ships not cloaking even when they have enough energy...

All cloaking devices have a cooldown - perhaps that is what you are noticing :)

Freshly built Phlanaxs and Tavaras for the ai already have two gold bars.

And the Borg Detector is still not placeable in the map editor.

If you build a V15 and use it's special ability (Hyper Space Distrubtor) the game crashes. Reproduceable.

the v15 special is hull polarisation not hyperspace disruptor.

the hyperspace disruptor is a standard weapon on some of the v15s

EDIT: did some checking and reproduced your bug.

its when your fire the veteran dread's special, tetryon singularity, you get ctd. log attached.

to be more clear, its when the weapon hits the location or unit u selected that the crash happens. the firing and travel of the weapon is fine. its when it detonates that u get instant ctd.

also on free tech i was playing breen dom (to test the last bug lol) and noticed that the proto buttons are the only ones available. they cover the non proto buttons. when u start making a proto, the proto buttons goes away and the normal build buttons is allowed again. so u can queue up 9 normals then quit making the proto lol. but to queue up more normals u have to start making a proto again lol.

Rank 5 Negh Var when played as Martok didnt gain the single Warship Torpedo,

I also noticed that Negh Var gains Ion Torpedo at rank 4,but in gameguide database theres is written that it should have it at level 5.


I think these are serious bugs,especialy the lack of Warship Torpedo at rank 5 makes this ship much less strong that it should be.For people like me that spend nearly all resources on Negh War class,this is bad dream.I pray that somebody will fix this soon

It gains it at rank 4 :) The guide has an issue that it can't display stuff at several levels right now because the database is on todo  :blush:. In the basics section level up is explained - anything gained at level 4 has double the effect/damage at level 5.  ^-^

good to know,thanks.... but what about Warship Torpedo at rank 5? I only saw that weapon in double on rank 7 Negh Var...    that leads me to next question,theres only 5 practical level ups,so why theres two unreal ranks extra?

there are only 6 ranks.

1 = unranked
2 = 1 silver
3 = 2 silver
4 = 1 gold 1 silver = officer 1
5 = 2 gold = officer 2
6 = veteran

2 other things I noticeed, eventually they have been reported before:

- Borg mining ships intend to change their moons, after they delivered their cargo. This loves to happen, if two moons are to close to each other

- I had a bunch of rom-mixed-tech defiants selected, when I told them to attack a very far away station. They didn't move. Not at all. They were on red alarm with green movement and special weapon authority.

I was fighting Dominion and Klingons ( team 2 ) with Borg ally,everyone at AI hard.It was The Very First Map map,I had two mixed tech Dreadnaughts,one at veteran level the other at rank 4 with full weapon and shield upgrade.I was rushing Dominions mining base while loads enemy ships ( 90% dominion 10% klingon ) was going after me,I selected rank 4 Dreadnaugh becose I wanted him to go back and repair but game suddenly crashed.

It wasnt usual crash,some bug report window opened but I canceled it becose I tought that writting it here is better.I have Windows XP,crappy old PC with 512mb ram  Intel Core Duo 2.7 and integrated 64mb graphic card.I was running the game at full details and 800x600 resolution.The frame few seconds before crash was around 4-0.7 frames per second.There was around 30 ships on screen.



ok,I played another round and it crashed aggain but now I know exactly why.Its becose I used that special ability of Veteran Dreadnaught on enemy ship.I didnt used it aggainst building ever but I think it will crash too.

I think it would be very wise if you might take a look at previous reports on this thread (and in fact, the very first post will list most of them thanks to the efforts of Boggz ) :). Although redundancy is good to remind us, the developers make a list of the bugs and correct them as they appear  ^-^
