What a massacre. Borg optimize is the new Mayson and is just as easy to win with. Romulans didn't had a chance against op dodecahedron's adaptive photon torpedo.

Nah Romulans needed better micromanagement, such as dont decloak and attack till your ships are altogether etc. Could have also tried to draw away Rays fleet by attacking his mining and letting his starbase defend his own mining ships.

Plus I heard somewhere that Borg ships are weaker than last patch due to a system value nerf? Sure I remember Dom talking about that.

Just the Scout Cube and Adaptor are weaker (dropped system value by 10), but they got cheaper too. The problem isn't the old Borg units though, it's the new one as Galefury pointed out very clearly. I don't want to spawn a debate on this thread though, so I (and I'm sure others as well) would prefer it if the next person who mentioned it started a new thread

also, dont judge the strength of a unit or race just on one game, i think part of it is i was playing one of my best games....

well thanks again yandon, just watched it, that was a short game actually, i got to say when i first saw his leahvals come out, i was worried,

@ the people vs dodec, i honestly dont think its that op, i just feel that in the games that ive won, the ones on and not on you tube that i outplayed the oponent, by using the ships i had the way i could, also, i havent played any other race, cept for one time since the patch came out, and before that, so i think i got some borg xp down

since the patch came out, i have played in a few games where i lost as borg, so they are not unbeatable, i played a game vs arash the other day him as feds, the first game he was definently kicking my but, but it lagged out, and the second game if i remember correctly he was doing very well vs my dodec, (should be uploaded soon)

i just hope nothing dramatic changes, maybe just make it 17-18 ccs IF ANYTHING, or a little more di and tri, that is all

With respect, just cause YOU lost as Borg does not mean that Opti Borg doesn't need a small fix .
