there's no way you can do anything against those hyperspaces
As I said, I have never seen a HSA in any game I had. Usually if you do scouting you will recon when an HSA is build...and when its moving you can easily snipe it. Even with 1 Yard ships. And in any other case you get 5 secs of warning to get your ships out of the area of effect. So I don't agree you cannot do anything.
Btw. This game was primarily lost because ppl build strange ship combos. How the hell can you rely on a fleet of Griffins? And why only building Disruptor rhienns when you will likely face structures and Battleships. And why the damn hell doesn't the Borg micro his ships out of range? That game was lost because of tactical mistakes..nothing about the ships imo.

Next time we play ingame I will show you how bad hyperspace is. When you try and move a bunch of fast ships out of the way, it usually takes a lot of time to get ships out of the way. That's if you can even move your ships. The pathing just gets so bad that ships tend to go forward, then backward, and circle arround trying to let the other ships catch up. Not to mention that it takes time for you to notice the countdown and get your ships to even start moving. When the blast does go off, its AoE is so big that its virtually impossible to get your ships out of the way unless they aren't already moving. And then you have the big slow cruisers. Yes, they don't instantly die, but they are severely damaged, and all it takes to finish them off are a few B-5s. Now just add a little lag into the game and things are twice as bad. The Hyperspace does not require research like the Bortas Field of Fire, and can be built rather early ingame. Engaging the Dominion fleet is dangerous preventing you from taking it out, so what can you do?

I dont really think they are overpowered. It only has 1 weapon that can be fired every 1 and a half minutes and is dodgeable. And they can be easily destroyed.
It requires a Large Construction Yard and a Ketracel White Facility so not exactly early.
... Or maybe im just lucky dodging them?
PS: I love watching these videos.

It's not so bad until you add lag and pathing into the equation. I agree with drrrr that you should be scouting and should know when the enemy is building HSA. The ketracel white facility is a rare thing for a puretech player to build, and it does take some time to actually construct both perimeters and HSA. They should be priority #1 when you find out they're being built, and the constructor should be destroyed quickly. It really should be more designed for vs. buildings, rather than a fleet bopper. I have a feeling it will be changed some time in the future.

I agree here.
I think that reduced damage to vessels and increased to biuldings might be the answer. Also *ahem*, I really don't think that Puretech needs to be able to build 2 of them ... that's just asking for a 1 hit wonder, so to speak .

personally i think it's dirt cheap.. 300 dilth, 100 trit, 20 supply...?
maybe if it was a little bit more expensive...

While it was a great replay the game itself looked frustrating as Hell.

hey yandon u seem to misunderstand how repairing a ship being tractored works
when engines are out you use a constructor to tow the ship near a shipyard. now the ship must still have crew and the constructor must still keep the beam engaged. then you give the repair order to the ship in tow. not to the constructor. you said in your video that the order should be given to the constructor.
this allows your ally to use his constructor to tow your damaged ship near a shipyard (even one with ally repair) and you can give your ship the repair order and it will repair.
EDIT: @boggz you complained that shield reset didnt fire, it did fire, but you were taking hits at the time, ive noticed that when you are taking hits that shield reset has far less effect. i assume that this is intended.

Tractor the damaged ship, Beam onto ship if it has no crew, set priority repair on the damaged ship, click repair on the constructor.

ahem, if you had read my post you would know that isnt how it works.
you dont need to priority repair on the towed ship, only normal repair. and you dont give the constructor the repair order, you just move it close to the repair facility (with the damaged ship in tow of course)

'should' (this is what you do) vs 'should' (feature request)
But point taken: I shouldn't be making feature requests in the vids and I should aspire to be as clear as possible on how to do things without adding confusion.

I just want to say thank you yandon, for sticking in there the whole hour and a half, it was a good game, and though i feel i had the game won early on and shoulda closed it out, boggz would not die.
Although it was one of my first klingon games, and i must say microing over 20 ships with specials, is alot different to microing like 5 borg ships,
I really liked the part where i had the turret, and then i came with both fleets to box him in after his warp in.
