Are there any plans by the FO team to bring this ship in the game? my apologies, OT and it may have been answered already elsewhere.

actually the Prometheus would need to stand over the Sovy ... its a flying fortress :)

I think Crazy Moose's  sugestion of seperation being used to retain veterancy is the best way to give the Galaxy something special w/o making it a godship  :D

As much as I like the glory I don't think it was my suggestion I believe I read it somewhere in either this thread or elsewhere. It is a good idea, wish it was my own.

then how about this, i do not like the warp in for weaker ships, because it takes a very long time, so how about theres a limit for galaxy, and we could put a limit on all the other ships, over 16 for a fleet but under 32 or somthing, since they are relativly new, at least the ships right now, you could do it just like the repair ships, and leave the starts for flagships or somthing, like the enterprise, and promethius, and avalon and descent class

Instead of warp-in, it could be made purchasable with resources but limited to X amount of ships (say 12 ships) because it is a rare ship and the Federation has Galaxy hulls stored all over the Federation in case of war, and the point of this game is war. Once you reach the limit, you can't purchase anymore unless one is destroyed. The Galaxy would still retain strategic value without limiting it as much as warp-in. Saucer separation could be used in an emergency case to make it a special ship, and the Venture Refit could be an upgrade achieved through research or after a specific structure is built.

The Nebula and Steamrunner could be built at a yard since they were cheaper to produce than the Galaxy, and the Descent could remain warp-in because it's experimental and having too many would be overkill. The Nebula should go back to having photon torpedoes and having long range bombardment ability since it has a torpedo pod.

I forget what credits cost for the Galaxy, but you don't always get a Galaxy with warp-in. If twelve is too low a cap we can always make it 16, 20, etc, etc.

well im saying use the repair ship limiting, for all of the ships, more slots for newer ones, less for older, liek galaxy steamrunner, and nebula, and then make warp in for ships like descnt promethius avalon, and maybye flagships like enterprise e, stuff like that

I think we should have lockers on the map containing parts to Galaxy, Nebula, Steamrunner and Descent Hulls. You can unlock them with a special key, and once you collect enough parts you can assemble them together like the gun in the video game Heavy Barrel.
