Speaking about the Nova, I notice the Intelligence Report entry for the Federation doesn't list it under their starships. The only mention of it is the plan to have both varients.

That's because I have not asked about the Nova's history or found any information about it (or if I have, it is not to be disclosed at the present time) - the Apocrypha section has been (mostly) closed to new additions for a few months now as Optec wants to include all relevant and up-to-date information in the official FO database .

Yeah, I talked with Doca about that - apparently he put a halt on all posts, 9000 and above for funz.  . It'll just stop registering after that point

sovvie unit analysis calls distortion field, engine overload. i think thats what the stock steamy had.

It looks to me like that's just for describing the effects, since it does overload the engines.

its capitalised, which indicates it is the name of the weapon. plus distortion field doesnt appear in the unit analysis, while usually the unit analyses mention the weapon name. probably just confused it with the stock steamy. i wasnt sure when i was writing the tutorial so i went and looked it up in the odfs.
