I've just noticed something; the Sovereign has Polarizing Hull Plates in the odf from rank 4 and up, but the guide says it gets it at rank 5. One of them mistaken?

the database still gives the bonuses for rank 5 on some things.

usually these are percentages, the guide is listing the 32% for rank 5. at rank 4 it is 16% as the rank 5 bonus is nearly always double the rank 4 bonus.

i think the database should list everything at rank 4, with a side note of the doubled value at rank 5.

The guide only lists rank 5 stuff, as it is merely a placeholder until the new database is ready and can account for rank 4 and 5 separately .

The note of doubled values is in the Basics' upgrade system for now

Typo for the Borg Adaptor in the database

1 Torpedo Module: Modifies Graviton Torpedoes to deal portion of their damage as direct hull damage. Reduces damage taken by beam weapons by 9%.

Should be reduces damage taken by torpedo weapons.

On the Artificial Intelligence page under Build Amount, the second paragraph after the first code example should have "Defiant" not "Sovereign" to match the code example.

changelog says newton dont need research for refit, but database says it does.

also mentions the old repair beam (borg not repairable etc)

The Database says the Newtons Field Diagnostics is researched at Starfleet Engineering, which seems to have been changed to not requiring research in the recent version.

I am impressed with how fast you updated the guide after the release. But I noticed that you did not mention Riser's Akira and Sovereign Class have civilian shuttle bays. Was that intentional? Either way nice work as always.

Hehe, thanks  . I can put them up there - I was sort of on the edge just because the database is in such bad shape at the moment because it doesn't address avatar issues well, etc . Will do that now
