miron refit database entry still mentions uss miran, tooltip was changed to uss miron.

ignoreshield = 0
Should always be set to zero apparently (needs to be checked).


This command effects visuals only.  If set to 0, the shield effect will activate when a weapon hits a ship (provided that the shields are up).  If set to 1, the shield effect will not activate when a weapon hits a ship and the weapon will appear to hit the hull, but the shields will still protect the ship.

First of all thanks for a nice guide. Love reading these  :blush:

I did notice someone saying about the mixed tech images missing, but since it's been some time since that post I thought I'd mention it again. Seems like the locations for the ships images are wrong, perhaps pointing to a place where those used to be.  Also, Risner's positive tick isn't showing because there is an extra _ before .png

Since mixed tech (mt) is gonna change soon, the guide parts on mt are all old and need updating.

Yup, Myles is correct - the mixed-tech sections of the guide are out of date, and I do not want to take the time to redo them until the database is redone and the mixed tech is redone for the game (as mixed-tech changes enormously). :)

Just out of curiosity; is 'Mage Cube' what some of the Cube varients are supposed to be called? I don't see any spells being cast...

Yup - if you can think of a better moniker, for sure suggest it, but that is what several of us have called them for having such extreme special energy (and thereby 'spell casting') abilities  :innocent:

i like the name mage cube lol. they are magic :D

its just a shame that 9 times out of 10 at the point in the game you really want a full tac for dps and tanking.

i guess if the enemy is super duper spamming specials a mage cube would be in order. but usually u dont get a lot of chances to make a cube, and u want it to be the best it can first time.

The Probe's database entry says it "can deploy Intelligence Report."
The word "deploy" does not apply to this situation (unless my semantics are off, in which case it still sounds very awkward.)

borg unit analysis for assimilator mentions matrix teleport coming from starbase, when it comes from the supply station now.
