You wouldn't see this in prime Trek(though there is the Vesta) but its still is a kickass ship. B)

I could see prime Starfleet using this, though they'd probably put a couple of Phasers on it. Just incase the plot says they have no Torps left.

Yeah phasers and a little less going on with it. Its too busy and complex.

agreed, it shouldnt fire the phasers in fleetops, but a small array should be on the model.

actually i like the big t
maybe it should get a sister, something with big phasercannons for sniping on distance, but unable to track faster ships in close range    ^-^

Adam_C wrote:im not gonna lie ive got a thing for miniture spaceship models (yes even at 25, ive got a box of them, I find their good for the imagination and focus the brain lol)

If it makes you feel better, Im 26, and took one I built 12ish years ago with me to Iraq (it stayed in storage, but I thought ti'd be a neat thing to take for the sentimental reason :p ).

As for painting it, remember the way trek models are paitned for TV includes paint that floureses under UV, which is were the naccelle glow and what not comes from to an extent.

I could see it having a FEW phaser strips, since even the Akira has them.

Agreed. The Akira for example even had Phasers and it was designed as the OMGWTFBBQ uperpwn torpedo spammer (which only fires one torpedo in flops for some reason), so no reason the tootleburger shouldnt have a token phaser strip.

That was a TMP era ship actually.

Beautiful work on the design Zeich, being one who creates new design, I can understand how much of yourself you put into this design. It really fits the era as well, so very well done. :)

BoP ? lol, no. It was the fed battleship model in the Starfleet Command series of games, and in Klingon Academy it was an experimental battleship that had two giant starbase phasers. If you saw it from another angle you'd see TWO engineering hulls.

Figures with the name Yamato. The shape of the hull does have something from a strange mix from Excelsior, Constitution and BoP.

It would be a possible TMP mixed tech design.

Na, wasn't mixed tech at all, just a fed experimental hull type.
