Oh it was GREAT fun in the origonal Klingon Academy.....
Back in the day, it was the be all end all for pwning as part of a team. Take it, sit back way out of sight/combat.... soon as an enemy heavy capital is spotted, warp to those coordinates, and snipe the guy.......
heres a better view of it.

Of course another great thing bout that old game was how you could blow chunks off ships.....

Onset opinion:
I like the concept.
I think the design is 70% Good.
Concerns:
That blue spot bothers me. I think it should be on the forward saucer section.
The ship still had allot of reminders to the ent-e/d.
The worp nussale in this design should be not look the same on both sides of a single worp nussale.
The shuttle bays to big.
Things I like:
The design is daring and unique.
The worp engines are pointed down rather then up. Good move. And can the red tips can be seen from the front of the ship.
The different gray colors add to the look of the ship and make it look cool.
I can see allot of hard work when in to it and it was a labor of love and the love in visible in the design.
Suggestions:
Makes the saucer section wider and longer. and the worp nuselss longer.
Make the worp engines some what pointy.
Make the enganyer/suttal bay area longer and love the wings back a little.

a outer thing to try is instead of those additions. Try having 3 worp engines instead of 2 and see what it looks like.
one on top and the outer 2 ware they are.

About the T-design. Although i greatly appreciate the work put into designing the vessel, i cannot say i particularly like the design or weaponry.
Perhaps the design looks awesome zoomed in or at an angle, but i tend to play with top-view and from that angle it looks too bulky IMO.
Perhaps if the nacelles were placed with slightly more angle or perhaps lengthened a bit so they don't appear this close to the hull.
The idea was to base a ship on the Akira, but with more bulk for torpedoes, but the strength of the Akira is that you clearly see where the hull ends and the nacelles begin. With this design it is less obvious where the hull ends.

I concur that the new Teutoburg class is epically awesome.

I love the Teutoburg personally! Both in look and during gameplay! I keep seeing people comparing the look to the Akira and the Yamato...I have to admit that the closest cannon ship that it reminds me of is the Luna class Deep Space Explorers (aka. the U.S.S. Titan). With that in mind, I could see the T-design working very well for Deep Space Tactical assignments like the Prometheus class. Bottom line of my rambling is that this is a very cool design!
P.S. what is the name of the website that you used for that model?

I thought the design came from his thumb. As in, from his imagination.
Very cool design though!

to take his side, i think he meant the site zeich got the physical print from.
to take your side denarius, he did say the titan was cannon [sic], when its not.

I actually like the design, reminds me of the Akira Class.
Only thing that annoys me is the non existent phaser in the design and ingame. I would at least put some banks on it, and ingame maybe restrict them to dogfight range? Would at least make a bit more sense.

The Teutoburg is not a regular starfleet ship. It is a weapon. made for a single purpose.
The Teutoburg always operates with an escort, but the ship itself does not carry phasers. All the energy and the interior is devoted to the volley launchers.

Phasers on artillery ships was discussed a few times before (admittedly the Steamrunner back then), though never caught on for the same bombardment specialization reasoning.
It probably has a shuttle or 2, which could act as phasers too weak to see on-screen. Having Shuttles seems to be something Starfleet does not make exceptions for.

i personally think that the teutoburg should have small visible arrays (all ships have at least a small array) but never fires it in fleetops. and would probably not fire it in trek.
i just dont think starfleet would skip phasers. the teuto would have them as a last ditch contingency. like currently, dudes manning artillery positions carry sidearms, even though they intend to sit back and shell.

Thats exactly my point Myles. A dogfight range + weak phasers would just be some kind of optical update, more or less pretty useless against any other bigger ship.
Another question: why is the deflector on top? Any particular reason for it?
