Don't make rules.  Just don't spam :).

Simple but solid formula for a solution we can get to.

I'm all one for good etiquette and enjoy having a fair and fun game over a game that simply wins.

A few questions though, instead of saying omg kvorts ban him  how about encouraging ways to beat it.  Sure kvorts cloak and dagger raids are deadly on mining ops,  my train of though is  have sabres and Canaveral*(the ship with the anti cloak pings) near by when the kvorts cloak and run watch their direction and uncloak kill the ships 1) their shields would be down 2) 90o firing arc gives them a dps disadvantage over  sabre's 360 firing arc etc though its questionable that the speed of both ships are the same.  My logic is likely off as I dont play much.

I think you missed the point - nobody is saying ban K'vort spammers etc. It's up to the player him/herself to use or abandon spam. It just isn't fun to be at the receiving end (or even the producing end) or spam. Likewise, I think you missed the point about the spam being unstoppable (although, like you said, you haven't played much recently). Sabers and Canaverals will get eaten like nothing else, and the Kvorts might as well have no cloak at all - you don't need it to beat somebody currently - the spam is that good (aka brainless). Remember, it isn't just about K'vorts - though that is a fine example right now.

Well, nothing new about that - seen that phrase since Starcraft  ^-^. Can you back that claim up in Fleet Ops though?

I did hear about that game. Though I bet you can't replicate it on a map that isn't so tight fitting - or with a player who didn't have their first 1v1 in years ;) . Frankly, an early Warp-In with Risner is just waaaay too slow to be competitive. I mean, you are without ships for a full minute (about 61 seconds) while your Mayson opponent can destroy either your shipyard or mining (and make no mistake, your opponent has the time to) with a Warp-In  and at least one Norway with Plasma ... and then it will take another 3 minutes to get the next three ships. From there on out, 2-3 Norways with Plasma zooming in will take out your mining vessels with no chance for retaliation (something Boggz did not do to me) - and since most Warp-Ins are slow, you have zero chance to expand.

Aye.  I could have just Kamikaze'd Dom's miners in that game with the warp-ins and a few Norways ... but I guess I wasn't really feeling that cruel.  Game would have been over MUCH faster had I done that.  I kind of wanted to fight his Intrepids :D.
