Too bad we didn't get a chance to record the game.  It sounds like it was a fun match.

Hard to say, really.

  Yes, my tactics were intended to make up for the fact that you had an enormous advantage in ranked vessels and veterans.  Luckily for me the Feds are capable of near-instant replenishment of their forces through Warpins and such.  I was able to constantly field fleets of ships to keep your own ships moving while you had to continually react to me.

 
  Again, amazing game overall, showing the strengths and weaknesses of each race .  I do feel though that, were I anything but Feds I wouldn't have been able to do the shit I was able to do.

 
  Free ships make resource-deprivation a much less damaging factor on harassment.

Yes I admit! Build the wrong ships 2 times was a litte stupid today. Especially trying to beat Leavhals with Intrepids (was Fed) oO thats what these nubi-games I always have to take part in brought me to i became retarded

From the rules, I'd say that every group has to play 12 games.  Multiply that by 6 groups, and there will be a total of 72 games.  Um, there will be 12 players in the elimination round.  That is not a power of 2.  At the end of the elimination rounds, you are going to end up with 3 players left in the tournament.  How are you supposed determine the championship in with 1v1 matches with 3 players?

That would make a power of 2 if it's done at the beginning of the elimination rounds.  And that would make it easier to score.
