Alright now for some actual tournament news.. 

Too many of you people have been slacking  >:(

So now you officially have 7 days.. that is 1 week to complete your tournament matches or else.. so get to work

  Well it shouldn't ... I kept losing to Borg so I am now 2-4.  Mort should be the same I think.

Yeah it was really something to see. Mort barely knows borg, they both did the same strat, but mort has really good micro

Alright I have heard a lot of complaints about the map Duel so for now until everyone begins to complain again tournament games will be held on Outland outposts or whatever its called.. the small blue symmetrical thingie.. so yeah.. no more Duel..

Also remember to send me your logs people aren't doing that and its causing issues

  I have to say ... outland outposts is not gonna be much better.

  It's too small ....  It's just going to give an advantage to another faction.

are we playing on duel or outland outposts now?

i think we should just stick with duel as we started with it.

maybe ban the op borg, and the op feds, and the op klinks and the op roms, and dont forget the horrendously op dominion.

we can all play observers (ferengi)

EDIT: dircome i just came on and found only 1 person there. it seems whenever i am free nobody else is lol.

Same lol...I've never seen Dircome or Agamemmnon (sp?) online...I've got about an hour now if either of you are around?

Ok I made a new map for the tourney that could easily be mistaken for duel itself. However, it does have some noticeable differences. For instance, the expansions are closer, its harder to get to the purple nebs, and the top and bottom are now perfectly balanced. Hal and I just tested the map and he should be on to give the official approval.

I'm surprised you guys don't use Openfields.  Still a great 1v1 map.

I like Funny's map, its seems really balanced for all race. (not sure we run only a test for pathing errors and so...)

Personally, its my opinion, that we stick on duel, thats what the first round was going to be, thats what it was set as, people need to suck it up and live with it or forfit.

To change the map mid round is not a good idea, as then it could be argued that the rounds on duel shouldnt count, so please just keep it the same, i doubt that there is that much of a difference on either side of duel, and i kinda doubt it would be game changing, and if it is oh well.

The point is, dotn change the map, i belive that duel is a well balanced map and is a pretty good one and fun (@ boggz, its kinda grown on me)

If the map must be changed the only other canidate i belive would be early bird, as it is a very well balanced map for both sides
