Borg vessels have if I remember corectly more mesh groups than the other races models. Also some of the borg models are high poly...but the poly count dosent matter so much I have found as the number of mesh groups do. I have found that having a 2k poly model with one mesh group vs a 2k poly model with 23 mesh groups perform quite differently in my experience. Texture sizes and LODs enter into it as well. Also system usage and construction enter into the equation as well. I belive that the devs are working on fixing the borg performance problems but its not an easy or quick fix.

Maybe its my system but there are some graphic bugs if I use cloaking systems:
Wormholes are not visible anymore if cloaked vessels are in that area
Phasers and other weapon effects are not visible ....
Maybe it is my system but I think a Geforce 260² GTX is fast enough and has more then enough power for this game. Or is this based on my Intel Core Duo 6700? Or is it why I using a Win 7 64bit version? Or last but not least: Full of 4GB Ram to use?

Agh..... everyone ignored the bug I told about..... I wanted to know if 3.12 or 3.13 would fix the wormhole bug. I'm sure everyone knows it. Sometimes a ship will get stuck during mid-flight through a wormhole. Making the wormhole get stuck open. So what do you have to do? Blow it up! What gets more annoying is when it is one of your "Good" ships (like a veteran or a dreadnought).

I dont know if this is a bug but when as Borg and you macro your starbase station to a key the ships it builds are assigned to that team, which makes it very annoying to use the stations transport drones ability, any chance this could be changed?

That's not really a bug so much as a general flaw (but it works in your favor for shipyards for instance). I think eventually some of these abilities will be permanently affixed to the GUI, but for now, all you need to do is hit the original fleet number, change it, and voila - starbase is back to being the primary fleet number .
Maybe a better fix would be just to make construction ships and freighters "unfleetable" or at least not added to a fleet when produced from a "teamed" yard/starbase.

or perhaps it could be changed so that the yard could be assigned a number and all the ships it builds would be assigned that number but the yard itself wouldnt be in that fleet

That wouldn't work without making ships and stations selectable at the same time, which could get frustrating at times.

do you need more savgames to locate the bug with crashing when loading one? i got there something ... (so many akiras ... lost ... all lost ... )
