When playing the borg:

"A certain amount of the damage dealt is unavoidable hull damage"...

Tactical Cube with maxed out torpedo strength (203 damage), 3 torpedo slots, hit a small federation vessel... shields go down to 20% (ehm... with a damage of 203, they should be instantly crashed I think) AND NO HULL DAMAGE present. It retreats and thats it.

I think when, lets say by 3 slots 30% of the damage are direct hull damage (so 203 / 3 = 67 Torpedo damage) a small vessel gets instantly destroyed by it. It is a) Torpedo damage (efficient against hull) und b) 67 points. Already 24 points (3*8 from an Akira or so) are able to destroy a shieldless ship so this torpedo may be instant kill all kinds of destroyers, if hit.

Well, the unavoidable hull damage is done as damage over time, so you may not see the effects right away.  Many federation vessels have stronger shield hit point values than other factions, so I don't see too much of a problem there.  I think what you need to do is dive into the odf files, find the specific Borg cube weapon damage against the federation vessel you are thinking of, then go and find the odf file for that vessel and find out what its shield hit and hull hit points are.  This will help you determine if the damage is bugged or not.  Then you can show us that info and it will be more useful. :D

yep the hull damage is not working correctly at the moment. will be fixed

It seems the Energy Core doesn't add any bonuses to the mixed tech B-5 Fighter Carrier for Dominion  :sweatdrop:

The Compound Tetryon-Photon Torpedo from the A-26 Bomber doesn't work either (can't target anything with it).

Compound Tetryon-Photon Torpedoes don't use targeting, but range.  Kind of like the Sang's compound torpedoes.  So you have to have an enemy for it to work.

the energy core upgrades affect the fighters, not the carrier :)

Is there any place that we can see the stats for the fighters?  Perhaps in the hanger subsystem?  Or is there any place it's listed that I missed?

For anybody else reading this - you can see it in the odfs and by selecting a fighter in map editor mode :)

  On the subject:  has there been a request to have certain weapons not target fighters first?  I know Dom and I came across that with the Leahval's Meta-Disruptor, but turrets, Starbases, and any other weapon that is non-targetable will waste their precious firepower on stupid Fighters.

Maybe make the Fighters a little different in the value of attractiveness?  :D

i  am haveing  a major issue  with it  when i play  the borg on instant action i  dont  get any of  the shipyards  to build any of  the ships  with butt  the other races work  fine

The Borg don't use Shipyards, they use the Collective Uplink station (Hotkey: U) to build ships. It works similar to stock 8472 evolution.

Only the AI use it like a shipyard.

welcome to the forums!

the Borg are a very special race.  you have to build a little uplink thing that builds ships one at a time.  once a ship is built, it is gone and you have to build a new one.

Another  question is is possible  to add the Uss Premonition  to The federation
