Yes.  It is not there.  I am thinking that there is not settings available for the game to set.  Thus, the appcrash.  So, maybe if we can add that file, it might get her started.  Just need to download and place the file in the appropriate folder.

Ok, one more thing, where does this file go to specifically.  Not only do I not have and file listed as

"FOData"

but I don't even have the

"C:UsersAppDataRoamingStar Trek Armada II Fleet Operations"

file on my system.

So, I might needmore that this file to get things going.

At what point do you lose that path? :)
You must certainly have 'Roaming', so did you look around and see if you have any folders there than pertain to Fleet Ops?  :sweatdrop:

Hey Dominus!

Thanks for chiming in!  ....and yes, I searched the "roaming" folder on both C: and D: drives.  Nothing pertaining to any FO folder found.  I do believe we are getting closer to the problem now.  Wonder why there is no folder when I installed the game.  FO did install fine without any problems (none came up during install anyway).  So, I do believe there is something with the installer not downloading these files.  Any suggestions?

maybe the game creates the appdata when first run, if the game never run it might not have made the folder.

yes, the folder is created after first run
i have no idea yet why this occours to you. you have posted a 'problem signature' in your first post. could you post that again for the 3.2.2 version please?

HI DC,

Will do.  Let me know when you are available.  PM me or what not.  THANKS!

Now, I can not even install the game.  It looks for an executable from the CD, but I can not "click" the CD.  I have the original Armada 2 CD, but nothing.  I even have Armada 2 installed (and running just fine) and it gives me the option of using that, but I can not even click on that!  Running in compatibility mode,  XP, SP2, with full admin rights and still nothing.  I am beginning to think that FF just won't work on my rig.  So many problems, and no real help on this either.  Tried to contact you DC, but when you are on line, you ignore me, so I can not play this game.  Too many bugs for me I guess.

I tried that.  It doesn't work.  I will try again.  Maybe third time is a charm.

Confirmed.  The buttons do not work.  No highlighting, or anything.  This is looking bleak.
