If you are just going to spam Cehaers out of the Warbird Yard for a long while, no need to build the Staryard first - all you need is to build the Research Insitutute :)

Aye.  The staryard is only in case you want to make Norexans .

And I was totally waiting for you to build some D'Deridex's now that we've learned they can be made quickly after a few cehlear's.  However you still won so oh well.

Try again on a slightly larger map and see what happens!  :D

Yeah - the game's by no means perfect. I was trying to follow the next patch's building prerequisites and so I ended up with the extraneous Staryard for a bit.

The Cehaers' special, Disruptor Bombardment, requires the Tal'Shiar, which requires the Staryard.
Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Slight flaw in the Romulan tech tree

The main reason I put this up is so that people can see that it can be done. And, yes, I do need to work with some larger maps. :)

Hehe, well, you only started with Disrupter Bombardment after the fourth-fifth Cehlaer, so the early Staryard slowed down the build just a teensy bit :P . Other than that though, indeed correct that it is a good way to show people it can be done quite effectively. Perhaps we can show an early demonstration of a Cehlaer/D'deridex start - that's quite fun as well, although currently best in a teamed match (or FFA).

Very interesting :)

Well, hopefully in the new year (2 hours from now for me) we will have some great new replays :) . Thanks for the continuing effort Yandon

I think Red was TaQ'roja, too. The yard tooltip had 'Veqlaragh Class' in it. 2 Klingons, same avatar...

Dude I LOVE the commentary.  It actually takes a lot of the tension out of the game.  That's kind of nice because you can really watch what's going on bettter .

Kinda weird to hear people's voices though ....

hey ... with audio commentary ... very nice :)
don't watch all yet but the first thing i have to say ... pls speak louder or turn the music and weapon sounds down ... sometimes its difficult to understand you ;)
and pls dont chose the federation ... in my opinion their music is too peaceful :D ... maybe romulan would fit better ^^

and one correction ... green is martok
at 4:32 ( first vid ) you can see starbase fireing torpedo drones ;)

Funny (Red) was Taq because he built Veq's but Veronw was Martok (Green) because he had numerous Susa's.  :)
